Not sure what to say?

Charlie -- Please accept my condolences on your father's passing.

Uncle Jack --
Standing tall and strong,
Bending but never breaking,
Staying rooted to family, no matter what.

Thanks to Uncle Jack, we know what strength of character means, along with a sense of humor. He showed this by example every day through his love and devotion to Nora, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends, and community. Jack brightened the room and made you feel special and welcomed no matter where he was -- at lunch, Broomes Island...

I have a plaque that reads, "My father didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it."
Jack's love of family, his integrity, humility, and humor are a few examples of how he lived his life and is evident in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
I will remember the twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face while telling family stories, jokes or organizing potato-sack races at the family picnics. Always happy to see everyone, Jack had the...

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Jack is "What a great man"! Jack made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. He & Nora would frequently open their home for family gatherings that would become the backdrop for the many memories I will treasure forever. He was a great story teller & I always came away with a bit more knowledge about him & his family (& a good laugh as well). I always admired what an amazing brother he was to my Dad. The love & support he gave to my Dad &...

We are sorry for your loss. Uncle Jack was a good man who led a great life spawned a great family. He was the standard for goodness, but also lightness, as he knew how to have fun. His example was powerful and will be missed immeasurably.

Ken and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. It was an honor to know Jack. I will always remember his kind ways and smile. The service was an amazing tribute to his life.

They say the best gift you can give another is a great example...well Jack certainly did an outstanding job and all that he touched has been truly blessed! Jack taught us all what loyalty, integrity, commitment and work ethic was all about! He will be missed but know his legacy and spirit will continue to shine thru the family. We hope and pray that our Jack Green will follow his foot steps and become the great husband, father and friend that Jack was to all. Love, Dom Jennifer Jack and Mary

Dear Nora, Charles, Trisha, and Kenny,
Salt of the earth is what always came to mind whenever I thought of my uncle Jack, and I think I even noted this when commemorating Jack and Nora's anniversary. Having just gone to his service, I feel humbled and inspired by his memory. The service was perfect, not the least of which because it was such a perfect reflection of Jack: humble and dutiful, but filled with light and joy. He has left a legacy of amazing children, grandchildren, and...

Dear Nora, Tricia and your entire family, it was our honor and joy to know your wonderful husband and father. Even in his last days he had his wonderful sense of humor and interest in everyone else.

We are so sad for your loss and congratulate you on your beautiful family.
