Read MoreI knew Jackie and his brothers as we grew up in Salem. He, Murphy Wood and I were learning to play guitar together. We showed him how to play bar chords on the guitar. Very sad to see he and Jimmy passed. My condolences to his wife Missy who I also grew up with.

So sorry to hear about Jack's death. I don't live in Salem anymore and now live in KY, but keep up with the papers and still visit family there. He was a great guy and I know you will miss him alot. It was a true pleasure to have played with Jack until his sickness. He was an awesome talent and a very easy going personality. As it was known to everyone in the band, Jack didn't say much, but when he did you had better pay attention.
