Not sure what to say?

Hey Dad, Just wanted to let you and your friends know I try to stay close to you. Each Sunday and sometimes Saturdays too I walk the pier in Grand Haven. I can´t think of anywhere to be closer to you. We love the water, the boats, th sunshine and the roar of an engine. I know why you loved it. I hear the windchime and think of you chiming in in the latest political conflict and you´d have plenty to talk about these days! We love you and think of you often. I take comfort in knowing you...

I do miss Jack, one of my best and oldest friends. He and I would have a lively political discussion, and a gourmet meal, if he was still around. His wonderful wife Marge must miss him a lot!

As fellow Trinity members, we were always greeted so warmly by Jack. We remember him as a generous Christian friend. May the peace that passes understanding be with Marge and. the whole family.

May the angels welcome you on your next journey. May you rest in the palm of His hand.

I'm a long term friend. Wife Christine and I shared many meals and political discussions with he and Marge. I loved the guy! Will always miss him!

Jack was a ray of sunshine every day at 10 a.m. when he faithfully arrived at Collins Elementary School for over 20 years where he came in and read with students. I always knew what time it was when Jack arrived because of his timeliness. He faithfully called if he couldn't be here. We loved Jack - the grandpa of Collins - for many years. A faithful servant who dedicated himself to bettering the committee and giving of himself. I am sorry I cannot attend the visitation nor the funeral, but...

Many great times at the lake, Dad.

I will always remember Jack coming to Collins Elementary to help 1st and 2nd graders any way he good, he was very dependable coming once a week. He was so outgoing when he came, we enjoyed him every week.
