Not sure what to say?

To the family, I send my condolences. May you find comfort in each other and strength in Gods word. Psalm 91:2

I apologize for the delayed message. Sending my heartfelt condolences to David, Becky, the rest of the family and to Ted for the loss of their dad/uncle.

I did not know your dad personally. I have only heard of his great accomplishments and his commitment to a lot of the youth in our area for so many years. I hope you have lots of good memories and joy to sustain you during these times.

Happy birthday my dear friend. I will miss our "birthday conversation" today, Will miss hearing that old familiar laugh. Rest in peace, you are forever in our hearts.

Jack Griffin at Camp Indian Trails, late 1950's

A quick addition to what I posted the other day... "Uncle Jack" (who was also called "Griff" by many of the campers) is being fondly remembered by many of the old campers (from Camp Indian Trails, Milford, PA) whose lives he touched in so many incredible ways, so many years ago. If any family member wants to contact me, I will be happy to share with you those words/memories that are being posted. He is being fondly remembered by all. The attached photo was likely taken in the late 1950's......

Jack Griffin Swim Instruction at Camp Indian Trails, circa late 1950's

I have nothing but the fondest memories of "Uncle Jack." For many years thru the 50's and 60's, he ran the waterfront at my Dad's summer camp in the Poconos (Camp Indian Trails, Milford, PA). Under his watchful eyes and excellent tutelage, we all learned to swim and love the water. I can see him now, standing on the dock blowing his whistle as eager campers gathered round for "buddy call." What a wonderful man. What wonderful memories. Condolences to the family.

It takes time to heal from a loss, especially if one wonders what might of been. I can only imagine Mr. Griffin lived all parts of his life with the kind of exuberence that many saw outwardly. May the Griffin family have peace and comfort from sharing this.
