John Paul and Morgan:
We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He led a rich and full life. You probably won't remember me but I am your mother's cousin from Sterling, Il. I was born in Louisiana and spent some time with your mom & dad in Shreveport a few years back and had a wonderful time. I also am the one who introduced your former nanny, Linda Rodriguez, (deceased) to your Mom. If you're ever in Il. give us a call. We would love to hear from you.

John Paul and Morgan,
I watched you, John, grow from a little boy into the fine young man that you are today! Your father was a GREAT man. He was absolutely wonderful to my family. He saw us through many hard times. If I had ten thousand tongues, it would not be enough to thank him. May he rest in peace with Dina (your mother), Bill, and Rosa Lattin (my parents).

John Paul, Morgan, and Family,
We are so sorry to here about Mr. Grigsby passing. I don't know if you boys remember me, but I was your father's secretary for many years and Mary Townsend's granddaughter. I lived, with my husband Derrick "Tooter", on the farm for a number of years.
Mr. Grigsby and Mary were lifelong friends, and I feel that another piece of that time has definitely gone now. I do know that Dina will love to see him again.
My prayers and...

Sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jack Grigsby. I was never fortunate enough to meet him in person, but we had business dealings as a result of my employment with J-W Operating Company. I have great respect for his accomplishments and I will keep those close to him in my thoughts and prayers.
