Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry I am just seeing this. I had the honor of being his youngest ever patient at the age of 13. I will always believe his knowledge and compassion are the sole reasons I was able to have my 2 daughters. He always made sure to tell the residents that came in the room with him that I was his youngest patient ever and always complimented me for following his advice when it came to my health and the uphill battles I would face with my weight and health. May you all find peace in the memory of such a wonderful man father grandfather and doctor
Jack was such a good and special friend to us and will always be remembered fondly

The Wright State University Retirees Association extends our condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Gruber. We also wish to acknowledge his years of service to our University.

Jack Gruber was my GYN for years and we had the kind of relationship where I could call him my family. Thank you Dr. Gruber, you have been missed since you left Dayton.

May the love of friends and family carry you all through your grief. Jack was a mentor for me early in my nursing career and because of his willingness to teach , I discovered my passion for the field of infertility nursing. He remained a good friend throughout the years to both myself and my husband. He was a humble, generous, and talented man whom we both admired very much. We are sad and so sorry that he is no longer with us. May God grant you all peace while grieving him.

Dr. Gruber was a great gynecologic surgeon who taught hundreds of physicians modern surgical techniques during his tenure at Wright State University and Miami Valley Hospital. He helped thousands of couples achieve their dream of having children by pioneering IVF in Dayton. I am proud to have known him, worked with him and learned from him. Godspeed Jack.
