I talked to Jack just a few weeks ago. He sounded his usual jolly self .I where a former student" would never forget Mr Hall". I believe that Jack has had a positive impact on more people than any other of his classmates. Billie , I know I speak for the class of '52 , we all loved Jack and the lady he adored.

I will never forget Mr. Hall. He was my 6th grade History teacher the first year that House Springs Middle School had opened. I thought he was mean and went home and told my mom that after the first day. Well that night I had soccer practice and wouldn't you know that I was playing with his daughter Crew and Mrs. Hall was right there listening to my mom tell our neighbor about my first day at school and this Mr. Hall. He never let me live it down, and we laughed about it anytime I saw him....

Dear Family....my oh my, how Jack loved his family. He was so proud of Crew and Melissa. I taught with him from 1982 through 1997 and admired how much he loved his family. I missed out on the stories about the grandkids but I know he was thrilled to have them in his life. Please be comforted with the knowledge that Jack was a Christian and is resting in peace....love to your family, Judy Sherrell

I taught with Jack during the beginning of my career 19 years ago. He was a kind and supportive friend who helped me become a better teacher and to keep my sense of humor in the classroom. God bless you.
