To Beverly, Dave, and Sherri, I spoke to Terry Moore today and he told me of the passing of your Dad. He was a true gentleman. He treated everyone with kindness and respect. He always had a smile on his face. He was so nice to me when I played baseball with Dave in the front yard of your house. I will always remember him with fondness. Jack was a good neighbor and a kind, gentle man. Every time I pulled into Mom and Dad's (and later Dave and Mary's) driveway, if he was working in his garden, he'd stop and greet me and ask how my son was doing. I'll always remember him playing catch with Sherri in their front yard and tending all the beautiful plants in his garden.
