Not sure what to say?

Dear Jayne Alice and Family,

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to say goodbye to Jack. It has been such a pleasure knowing everyone in your family the last few years. We've been really busy with the house sale and moving so we haven't had a chance to stop by to say goodbye. We will do so sometime in the next couple of weeks after we settle down and visit with you all.

Blessings,
Andrew and Penny

I came to know Jack first through the Public TV documentary Victory in The Pacific. My friend Bill Pierce, 6th Division Marine officially connected me with Jack last fall. I was honored to have corresponded with Jack who so thoughtfully and thoroughly supplied me with his personal Marine Corps history in the Pacific. I received his last email 10 days before he died. I was honored to be dubbed JASCO Annie by Jack and will keep that memory tucked near my heart. All of the condolences...

Dear Jayne Alice and Wyatt:
In the name of the Phoenix Ski-Group I send our heartfelt condolences to you and your family to the loss of your beloved husband and father.
I personally will miss his emails, I was looking forward to them for the last 10 years or more. I specially liked the girly ones. But I also could see that Jack was a man of faith and I know he is in a better place with a new body.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
Peter Jordan

Dear Jayne Alice, Wyatt and family,

We just heard the sad news that Jack has passed away. We would like to add our heartfelt condolences to those of his many friends. Another good man less in this world. We will remember and treasure the good times we have had together.

One would think that there is a little less humor and good story telling in this world with the passing of Jack Hoag. I say that it is not so, for surely he bequeathed these qualities to his family who will miss him dearly. We also will miss Jack and remember him fondly. Jack was good.

Mrs. Jayne Alice, Wyatt & family,

It is a blessing to have known Jack! We continue to pray for you as you celebrate his memory and adjust to life without him.

Because of Jesus,

Goodbye, Jack! I'll miss you!

I met Jack at the Sixth Marine Division reunion at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas several years ago and we became fast e-mail buddies. He was so dear to me. I am so grateful to have been able to spend several hours with him last Sept. at yet another 6 Mar Div reunion before his passing. My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Hoag and Wyatt. Please rest assured he is guarding heaven's gates as only a Marine can do.
