Dr. Jack R. Hopper

I came to know Dr. Hopper due to my working at Eastman Chemical Company in Longview, Texas. Dr. Hopper always welcomed us to campus and made our visits mutually beneficial. He was a colleague and most importantly, a friend. He represented Lamar well and was truly down to earth, unlike many Deans of Engineering that I've done business with on other campuses across the country.
