Not sure what to say?

Jack,
You were of the earth you walked on and the earth knew your song!
You lived your life so fully-You enjoyed whatever you were doing-You had laughter-You had contentment-You were always learning and always teaching-You gave of yourself to so many others.
You were blessed and surrounded in all your living-and in your dying with the love of your family and your many, many friends.

Jack, you are loved and remembered always and forever.
- I miss you so.

Jack and Dianne's Wedding on The Farm

The following is a letter that I sent to Jack a few weeks before he passed. I told Jack that I loved him, but us guys really get uncomfortable telling each other that sort of thing, so I wrote him this letter---

For Jack Huston
I was born in 1956
Don't remember much of the fifties, Guess I was a child of the sixties, Hippies, The Vietnam war, Love Power, and of course Rock and Roll music.
I was very much influenced by John Lennon.
I even staged a sit-down demonstration on...

Poetry For Jack

Been sad lately-
no poetry will come
for my brother-
no flowing words
to lift his spirit,
celebrate his soul,
honor his life.
In his house
for the first time
I am touched
by his remembering-
a litany of photographs.
Jack has journeyed on
to join Mom, Dad, Doug,
Miles, and countless more.
From him I have
learned:
life here is far
too short, so-
embrace the seconds,
love to the limits,
cherish...

Jack was a man who lived and enjoyed life to its fullest. He had an inquisitive mind and a smile that could light up the room. That light has moved on to places we have yet to see. God-Speed, Jack!

I wrote a poem for Jack which I'll print up later. Just wanted to write how much I miss my brother. It's been a little over a month, and my heart still hurts. Jack was 12 years older than I am, but his influence was great. He taught me so much. He will remain forever in my memory and in my heart. I pass your jokes, your humor, your essence onto my children

Dianne called me the morning after Jack passed and it's been weeks and I still have a hard time with his passing. What can I say about Jack? Jack fixed many of my vehicles more times than I can count. Jack fixed and helped me more times than I can possibly count. He was always there, and never ever said no. Jack was a friend through thick and thin and always had a joke every day of his life. Jack took me camping from the Pocono's in the East, to the White Mountains, in the Rockies in the...

I met Jack when we were both 28. Married him two years later, we made two cross country trips and had the time of our lives, exploring, learning and just loving nature. Jack and I moved to Globe, Arizona in 1975, had two children. Jack had two wonderful boys when we met. We had a boy and a girl. We were married for 25 years, divorced but remained friends...He was a kind person, loved teaching and loved telling his famous Jack Jokes. I was with Jack when he passed. It was difficult to watch...

Trisha and Betty Ann, sorry to hear about your brother Jack. I have few memories of him as we were all growing up in the neighborhood (since Trisha and I were the youngest), but all the memories that I do have are good ones. He always had something nice to say and a smile on his face. Just a few months before my husband passed away, he asked me about Jack and wanted to try and contact him via e-mail...although time ran out for them both on earth, maybe they are chatting now. Take care,...
