I remember him so well... I was in the class of 1967. I remember once he told the class that Patrick Henry had flaming red hair; he brought history to life. Rest in Peace Mr. Hutter.

Mr. Hutter was a wonderful teacher - one of my favorites. He always slipped in a "trick" question on his tests. One I remember was "When was the war of 1812 fought?" My sincere condolences to his family.

Jack Hutter, the teacher...I remember Mr. Hutter from class in the 60's..one test question in particular..."How many football games did the Electoral College win last year?" I, an A-student was stymied b/c I didn't know a teacher was allowed to have a sense of humor. Fifty years later and this student remembers a question. How many lives did he touch over his career? My condolences to the family and friends.

To the Hutter family,
Jack was my colleague at Lincoln and Lincoln West for 18 years. He was a wonderful teacher and historian who enjoyed the art of teaching and really knew his subject. I'll always remember our discussion about the decision to drop the A-bomb in WWII and Jack said it prevented him from being one who would have had to go into Japan to fight. I'm so sorry for your loss and if I weren't travelling out of state I would be there Sat to pay my respects. All the best to his...
