Reminiscing as a newspaper boy growing up in Dayton, Ohio that after collecting from my customers on Friday evening I would buy snacks and settle into an evening of television. I remember fondly watching "Your Evening Theater" on WHIO-TV with guest host Ignatz Hammerschlob aka Jack Jacobson. I will always treasure those laughs he gave to this young man. Rest in peace!

I hope that the family of Jack Jacobson know that this man was loved by people that he never even met.
I grew up in the Dayton, Ohio area in the 1950s and spent countless hours with Jack/Nosey on Channel 7. I never knew him, as an individual, but I loved him for the character he portrayed. Please understand that there are many unknown,anonymous individuals that still carry the memory of Jack with them.

Steve & family, as an old friend & sometime customer, had to add a prayer thought about your Jack Jacobson. He lives in the hearts and minds of so many for reasons expressed beautifully my many of God's children here.
There was a reckless love, joy and hope built inside him that had to come out to others. His salvation has always been that infectious love for others that characterizes the person in love with God himself. God, i believe wants to refresh the earth, environment and...

i met nosey the clown at a grocery store in greenville ohio, and remember as a teenager watching the late show with ignatz hammerscholb.
