Not sure what to say?

Jack played at my wedding in October 2013. As we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary, I thought I would look Jack up and unfortunately came across his obituary. He was a wonderful man; glad we had the honor of knowing him and having him be a part of our special day.

Miss you man so much

We loved Jack, our dear friend. His death leaves a deep hole and sadness in our lives. Barb and Bob Ryan

RIP Jack so many great memories of sitting by the fire and listening to Jack play the guitar and banjo when we camped at Satins kingdom and skipping school and driving around the reservoir. Jack was a great man and will dearly be missed.Sending prayers to his family.Donna DeSorbo friend

I On behalf of New Britain EMS, please accept our prayers and condolences during this difficult time. I met Jack when I took a position with New Britain EMS in 1996. Jack had been one of the first paramedics in New Britain and served as the Deputy Director. His talents extended far beyond emergency medicine. My since condolences to all friends and family. May he Rest In Peace

Sweet Jack, loved by everyone who knew you. I met jack in 1978, I was a young bluegrass enthusiast! It´s never left my soul. And neither will jack. Many nights at Rosie O´gradys listening to the guys pick for hours brings back the fondest of memories. I´m so touched I was able to see him last year at a bluegrass festival in Maine and we hugged like it was 45 years ago. The kindest, happiest man I´ve ever known. Rest peaceful my friend. This world lost a great man. Pick on up there

Jack was a musician's musician-always dialed in to wherever he was, whatever was playing, and whomever was playing it. He just plain loved music, and wasn't shy about sharing that enthusiasm with generations of players. A conversation with Jack was usually memorable, as was the man himself. To me he was always The Other Man in Black (which looked damn good on him, you had to agree). RIP Jack.
