It took me 5 years to find out where my friend went and why I couldn't get in touch with him. Jack was a very good friend and a legacy in the coaching circles. I enjoyed so much his anecdotes of the various coach authors from the years past. I miss him very much.

Jack and I were grade school mates in Brooklyn at Holy Name School.Until he moved to Bay Ridge in the 3rd-4th grade, we were fast friends and daily companions. We met again in high school at St Michael's DHS in Brooklyn. We met a few times at reunions after that. My memories of Jack are dated but he was a wonderful boyhood pal and high school friend. Our Jack is gone too soon, no time for a goodbye hug. We met as neighbors in Woodbridge Hills and became close friends. Jack witnessed our marriage license and then celebrated with us at our wedding in August 2006. He visited us after we moved to Naples, FL this past February, after his original trip was pushed aside by Hurricane Wilma.
