Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jack, I will remember you allways, my thoughts and prayers are with all of your extended family. Bev and I will allways remember you as 'the entertainer'. You brought happiness into our lives with your wit, your smile and always your crazy clothes. Rest in peace my friend, God has gained a great entertainer.
George and Beverly Cook 'the southerners'

To My Father: What a father and entertainer you were. I will never forget the music that elated from you lips. I think the service we gave you was one you would have liked very much, with your own music playing. Mom even was there singing some of the songs as your music filled the chapel. She sang One Day at a Time, and hummed to Mansion on the Hill. Tears came at the cemetery when she saw all the military honor guard and when presented the flag and gold bullets she cried even harder. You...

I first met Jack a number of years ago when he was entertaining at the Roca Country Music Show. A few years later, I played with him at Jam sessions and he was our lead player for a small group that played at Senior Centers and Retirement Homes. He was a great musician and it was fun to be a part of any group where he was playing. Jack made music fun for everybody. He will be missed by Old time Country Music fans.

We were privileged to entertain with Jack many times. A really great entertainer and accomplished musician, but most of all, a good friend. Many here in the Rio Grande valley enjoyed his musical and comedy shows, and are saddend to hear of his passing. Our sympathy to the family.

Dear Aunt Gladys, Connie, and Pam & extended family: We grieve with you at this time and pray for the peace of God to come into your hearts, comfort you, and lift you up.

To Aunt Gladys and all the family & ralitives, I would say it was a pleasure to have Jack as a brother- inlaw ,may his memeries of life be with all of you,may our Lord watch over us at a time like this.

To the family-- I will always honor the priviledge of Jack's acquaintance, and to have accompanied him at many of the festivals and contests. His light spirit and humor will hold a special place in my heart. I was not aware of his many achievements, his modesty wouldn't allow him to disclose the trials and tribulations he had experienced in his life. We have surely lost another of the great "old-timers" in our field of country, folk, and bluegrass music.
To have known him will always be...

Gladys, We were sorry to read of Jack's death. I'm not sure if you remember us. We were at Leisure World a couple of years before you sold. We live in Friend, Ne.

I met "Crazy Legs" Jack, many years ago when i was a young lady. He would come out and entertain at Jam sessions in the local establishments. I loved his energy and his passion for country music.
I shared his love of country music and later we socialized at many country music festivals. Everybody loved him and i am honored to say that i was one of his fans.
