Not sure what to say?

It was a great privilege to have worked with and gotten to know Jack Lemmon, a terrific gentleman. I frequently hung out with Jack backstage and in his dressing room (where he often watched football games on television) during the time he starred in the New York stage play "Tribute" at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. His extraordinary performances were quite memorable. I was fortunate enough to have attended several parties with this true legend (including the memorable closing night one at...

It's been 19years since this great man died, and I still think about him.I remember his movies, that I saw as a child, and still watch as a adult.Never was there a greater comedian, who could make you laugh, and forget all your troubles. And together with Matthau, wauw, unforgettable!Always in my heart,a fan from Belgium.

Youre truly an iconic Hollywood Legend...we miss your infectious laughter, your movies, as well as your compassion for life, caring for people, and what youve previously done for your community...RIP

Fair winds and following seas sailor.

Thank you for your service to this nation.

I'm watching Under the Yum Yum Tree which was one of his films from 1963. I hadn't thought of Jack Lemmon recently until this movie popped up in my channel guide. Jack Lemmon was one of the greats I remember from my childhood and didn't realize until today he was born on the same day I was and in the same year as both of my parents. They just don't make em like these guys anymore. Makes me want to cry that he'll never make another movie. At least he's not in pain any longer. You are so very...

Brilliant actor. Never forgotten, Rest in Peace sir.

Today, TCM showed Jack's best role in The Days of Wine and Roses. I was very disappointed when he didn't win the Oscar for his OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE in this film. He was a genius of the stage and screen and his talent was amazing. He will forever be admired and remembered as the gentlemen who entertained the world with his magic. JM, Auterlitz, NY
