Not sure what to say?

The approaching anniversary of the passing of our beloved teacher Jack Leshner gives me pause to read his obituary again. The accolades bestowed upon him and his personal achievements were numerous. Yet, he never mentioned them. His humility did not require him to prove his worth to anyone. He proved himself through leadership, by setting an example for his contemporaries and for generations of students. He accomplished what few historians could; he shaped the times in which he lived, and...

I was very lucky to be one of Jack Leshner's Social Studies students (Fallsburg Class of 1963). He was such a good man, I'm sorry for your loss. Feel blessed to have had him for so long. My deepest condolences.

Bright Moments,

Beth, I'm so sorry, my thoughts are with you and your family

Not a day goes by that I do not use the knowledge and skills taught to me by FCS kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school teachers. Not a day goes by that I do not appreciate that what they taught me has enabled me to enjoy life to its fullest.

There were many teachers who went the extra mile to provide FCS with a school of excellence reputation and standing.
In my book they all deserve recognition and honor, but none more so than our beloved...
