Not sure what to say?

Dear Woodcliff School Lukens Kids (again)...In my note of sympathy to you back in 2015, I stated that I had not met your father. No doubt my memory took a "time-out" back then, which at age 86, isn't all that rare. However, of course I met your father. It was an evening when I was visiting a patient at Butterworth and after he and I introduced each other, he asked if I would be able to give him a ride home after he checked out. For whatever reason, he already was aware his car wouldn't...

I see I forgot to sign the April 1 message.
Frank and Adele Krhovsky

We were in Florida when he got the news. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend. Jack was a good friend and a good neighbor. Frank visited him often at Porter Hills and if he missed a week, Jack drove over to be sure Frank was OK. We'll remember his ready smile, the twinkle in his eye and his wonderful sense of humor. Heaven is a better place since Jack and Katy are there.

I wasn't aware Jack had passed. My condolences to his family. He was a wonderful person.

Dear Woodcliff School Lukens kids: My deep felt sympathy to you at this difficult time of sadness for you and your families. However, I'm certain you have many wonderful memories of your father as well as your mother. I do not recall meeting your father, but I remember your mom, from several parent teacher conferences held in your "honor" at Woodcliff. She was wonderful and represented you well, I might add.

I pray God's blessings and comfort for you in the days ahead.

My...

I cherish special memories of your mom and dad! My heart is with your family and you at this time! So sad and sorry for your loss! Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts!

I was a patient of Dr. Lukens. I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am that I was referred to him. He was my doctor from 1968 until his retirement. He got me through some very difficult times. He gave me the courage to continue working in a career I loved while dealing with a chronic disease. I have a wonderful family and a great life thanks in part to Dr. Lukens. My deepest sympathy to his family.

What a fine gentlemen he was. It is easy to remember his smile, and his love for tennis. Supported by a lovely partner in life, and followed by great children, and their families. Dr. Lukens set a fine example for all to follow. God bless him, and all those that loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all family members at this difficult time.

ERIC AND PAT ALL OF OUR SYMPATHY TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
