Not sure what to say?

I was a cheerleader with Bruce when we were Seniors at Choctaw High in 1955/56. I will always remember his patience with us girl cheerleaders. We knew very little about football so Bruce would tell us when to cheer and when to be quiet, always with a sweet grin on his face. I will remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers go out to Edna and the Marler family.

I had the pleasure of being employed by Pappy for about seven years. I will always remember what he taught me about the fishing business, but most of all I will remember what a wonderful friend and mentor he was to me. Although he has passed from this earth, he will always be in the hearts of many of us.

He will be missed and it will be hard, going fishing will not be the same but i thank god for the time and memories and the stories that pappy told me everyday we were out at sea, my deepest sympathy goes out to mrs.edna and the family.

I was very upset last night when my son told me about Bruce, He was one of my best friends in Destin, never failing to advise me about the Charter business and assisting with help on some of the tourn' we fished together. He gave us information that helped us in our charter business in P C many times. I know where he is now and while meeting with others he knew up there, he is looking down on us while finally really enjoying himself. I will always remember and miss him.Capt. Bob Zales Sr.
