Not sure what to say?

It´s a blessing to remember Mr. Matthews and recall what a true Christian gentleman and consummate professional he was. His reputation as a highly knowledgeable leader and counselor were well earned and appreciated by so many of us. God bless his soul and his family during this season of peace and hope.

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was always and gentleman and hard worker. I first met Jack when I was Major in the Army and was assigned to the first Missile and Munitions Evaluation (MAME) in the summer of 1971. We travelled together in Europe and Korea visiting and evaluation the effectiveness of missile maintenance MOSs taught at the Missile and Munitions Center and School (MMCS) at Redstone Arsenal. I recall how interested he was in the way German farmers raised their cattle. ...

I had the pleasure of working with Jack in MMCS on the arsenal. He was a most interesting person, a great writer and the father of the world-wide Missile and Munitions Evaluation or MAME for which I traveled extensively as a team member.

Deepest condolences to Mrs. Betty, Justin, and Scarlett. I'm so sorry for your loss. Jack was such a great man and I always enjoyed visiting with him and Betty whenever I went by their house either with, or to visit Jimmy. Prayers for the Matthews family, always. Much Love, Gaye Jones
