Not sure what to say?

I knew Jack at Scott Paper as the Instrument Shop Supervisor. That was in the Pulp Mill Area. It sure did smell, but we all that worked there said it smelled like money. Because it paid good. The photo of Jack in the obit was just who he was. Things were good until he had the brain tumor. lots of golf and good times. Sad to say I am no longer part of that anymore either.

jack was my uncle and he would do anything and everything to make sure my sister and i got what we needed and what we wanted.he made us laugh uncontrollably and he was one of the best men ever! i miss sittin in his lap every morning on the back porch watching the squirrels eat.. i miss him so much! he will never be forgotten.

Jack, you will long be remembered by your many friends. I am proud to have known you.

I'm sorry to say that did not know him personally. But my heart goes out to you for your loss. Over the last couple years I've just begun to realize what a strong bond CCT forms. I hope he's enjoying Bob Hope up there. Steve Polofka Little Rock CCT -- 76-79.

I met Jack at the CCT reunions and enjoyed his company. I will miss his friendship and company at the next reunion. May God Bless you and Rest in Peace.

My heart goes out to the McConnell Family. I never meet Jack. Yet from the letters it is as if I have always known this great man. It is never easy to say goodbye to a family member. So I will share this poem that I wrote.

THEY NEVER SAY GOODBYE

They are one. Each a part of the other.
They never say goodbye.
They always say, I will see you later.
They meet upon a training field. They meet upon a battlefield.
They...
