I loved your Dad as if he was mine. He will always be in my heart. He fed me ,defended me and always had a smile, ice tea and corn bread to give. He was a hero and a wonderful person in everyway
Love Deb

So sorry I missed the services, I didn't know until yesterday. Jack Mack and Bea McMillian were two of my favorite people, they took me in and treated me like family. I loved them both dearly and will miss Jack's similing face. To the family I am so sorry for your loss, and I will keep you all in my prayers. Tina, you were the first friend I made when I came to Carter in the 6th grade, and I love you like a sister. If you need me, just call.
Love, Angie

It's because of him and people like him, we continue to be a free nation, one nation under God. God Bless, guide, and protect all of your family. In Jesus name, Amen.

So long "Wormy," you were always a very good person; I never heard anyone utter a derogatory word about you. Sorry I can not attend your wake/funeral but I no longer drive after dark.

The first time I saw Jack Mac in 1973, he was whistling. The last time I saw him about a year ago, he was still whistling. now, I suppose, the heavenly choir has gotten a new whistler. I am deeply sorry that I couldn't make it to the services, as work has unfortunately kept me away. I wanted you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Papaw I will miss you so much. All the laughs and jokes. We will miss you we love you.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may...
