Not sure what to say?

Growing up in Florida as a small child, I can remember three television programs that meant a lot to me: The Skipper Chuck Show, Flipper, and Authur & Company. The latter remains a series of constant messages for me, as constructed and played out by Mr. Metzger and many others who brought those interesting puppets to life. I always received a positive and helpful message from that quaint show and will remember it always as an important part of my childhood. Rest in Peace, and God bless.

Growing up in Miami, I knew Jack as a television personality, and later on, as my student advisor at UM. He was both a media pioneer and creative educator whose warm, witty personality inspired many. "The Captain" will be missed.

I have many fond memories of Jack. He had a Noel Coward-like charm that was always engaging. He was truly a class act!

An amazing and charming gentleman, quick of wit, that always contained a bit of warmth with the whimsy.

Jack was truly a great friend, teacher and mentor. I will always remember the fun times we had in radio productions at the Universtiy of Miami. He was an usher in our wedding almost 54 years ago. He was an "Uncle" to our boys in their young years and remained a friend as they grew older.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Thanksgiving 2012 with friends Patrick Matthews and Jack

Jack was a wonderful friend who was always there when needed. He had a terrific sense of humor, dry and witty. We will miss him terribly and will always remember the wonderful times we spent with him for many years. Rest in peace, dear friend.
