Not sure what to say?

Jack was a special friend of ours. I went to grade school with him and my husband, Fred and I went to Missoula County High School with him. We also attended many Mariner Games and always enjoyed our visit with him. He will miss our 60th High School Reunion but I imagine he will be with us in spirit.

We used to go into the Tides and close the place down, then jam with Jack until 4 or 5 AM. Good old times, indeed.

Jack was a Pierce Transit bus rider and I a driver. He was well known in the bus system. Always good to go and friendly.

You listened to me, Jack, and I appreciated it so much. I just happened to mention a song (a 45 record) I was looking for and, months later, you found it in the trunk of a car and remembered it was the one for which I had been searching. It meant a lot to me. When you sang Ava Maria in church, I will never forget how moved we all were, especially your mom. I could say so much more in tribute but I'll just say "I will miss you, Jack."

I had some great times at The Tides just after I turned 21. You were the best entertainment in town. You will be missed.

I was saddened to read about Jack's death last night, as we stopped on our way to baseball game. Giving him a buck before or after game always made the evening better and stopping to say hello to him as well as listen was a lovely little part of life. My support to his family and appreciation of the good music that he made. Love to you Jack. Carl Tippins- Seattle

You helped me fall in love with the guitar... and gave me a wonderful sister :) Thanks Jack

As a long time friend from the Tides, Safeco, and Centurylink, Jack will always have a spot in my heart and will be dearly missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
