Not sure what to say?

Jack was a good man, a thoughtful leader and a true citizen who committed time and energy to so many worthy causes. He will be missed.

WITHOUT THE HELP OF JACK, MY IDEA TO CREATE A MUSICAL SERIES CELEBRATING THE FLINT AREA'S CULTURAL DIVERSITY WOULD NEVER HAVE COME TO FRUITION. WITH HIS HELP AND GUIDANCE, MUSIC IN THE PARKS ENJOYED A GLORIOUS 24 YEARS. HE SHALL BE MISSED. HE WAS A TRUE GUIDING LIGHT.

Memories. I have always respected Jack for his intellect and dedication to his family and ALL people. We studied for our Master of Arts at Eastern Michigan University in Special Education at the same time. We worked together at Grand Blanc Community Schools for one year. When Jack taught children with emotional needs at Whaley Children's Center he trained student teachers from EMU. He was a gifted teacher. We worked in several professional educational organizations together. Jack lived his...

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Minore both as one of his constituents and as a colleague in public education. The Flint community and state of Michigan have lost a giant in public affairs whose contributions to the welfare of us all are immense. Condolences to his family and friends.

Jack and I were classmates and best boyhood friends. We lived about a block and a half apart on W. Genesee St and my school days at Garfield Elementary, Emerson Junior High and Flint Norther High would begin with a walk to his house before going on together to school. Jack had a constant interest in politics, and one of my earliest childhood memories is of his interest in the 1948 presidential election and his conviction that anything other than a Truman victory would be a very bad thing. We...

Jack was an old friend of my late father George and mother Sandy-the Plum family remembers him well and spent many gatherings; (Memorial weekend picnics at Kearsley park). The city of Flint will miss him, but he leaves a great legacy.

I knew Jack in nearly all of his positions in public service. He was a special human being, dedicated to helping others. My sympathies to his family and all who new and loved him.

One of Flint's finest has passed. Thank you Jack. Your family is in my prayers.

Jack made a difference and had the rare quality of making good things happen whether it was in his role in education, city government, or state government.
