Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of his passing. While I had never met Jack,I still feel I knew him. From watching or listening to him broadcast on T.V./radio since the 60's,he always struck me as a proud, gifted, and caring person.
His special and dignified manner will be missed. He had become a true legend in our community. My condolences to the O'Neill family.

To
the family and friends of Jack O'Neill...my thoughts and prayers are with
you during this difficult and emotional time. As a former member of the Holyoke
St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee and a fellow broadcaster, I mourn his
loss and celebrate his wonderful life. Jack will be missed but not forgotten.

My sympathies to the O'Neill family. I actually have a teddy bear named after Jack, because that's how I saw him, as a big teddy bear. I remember him from when he worked with my mother, Sarah Mann, and he was great fun at the Holyoke parade. He is most definitely missed.

I was sorry to hear about Jack's death. I worked with Jack as a video tech. at WHYN-TV in the seventies and we has many good times in the tape room getting stories together for the 11P.M news. His friendly manner and big heart will always be remembered by me.

Dear Linda and "the kids",
I only just learned of your loss in this morning's Globe. (Why is it we drift out of touch with people who are important to us?) Jack touched so many lives in so many different ways. His work on behalf of the Springfield region and as a leader in the Mass tourism industry will never be forgotten, and his friendship and support of this former state director is something I will treasure forever. He never stopped speaking of his love for his family and I feel...

I worked next to Jack in the booth during UMASS football games. His command of the microphone was outstanding and he added a lot to the experience for fans attending the games. He was a gentleman and an outstanding personality, and we will miss him next Fall.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I had the opportunity to work with Jack during my time on the Holyoke Parade Committee and he was always a gem.

Jack, you've left us too soon. But now you get to report on all those great games in Heaven. God bless you and yours. I miss you already.

Matt,
My condolences go out to you and your family. From the early days of
Sacred Heart baseball I can vividly remember your father there for
every game. He was such a nice man. I can remember running into him
from time to time, and he would always recognize me, stop, ans say hello. His memory will last a lifetime. I never new it, but we even
shared the same birthday! Take care of yourselves in this difficult
time. God bless.
