Not sure what to say?

Chris, our sincerest condolences. Our losses are always missed, but they can never be forgotten.

Virginia,
I was sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Virginia-
We extend our sympathy to you and your family. We're your next door neighbor's family when you lived on Farnam street. We remember when you and Jack used to sit outside and greet us when we came to visit Dan and Barb at their house. Roy said that Jack came over for the first outdoor film we did.
Thank you for being good neighbors and friends to by brother and his family.

Sincerely, Diane and Roy Brown, Anna and Olivia.

Chris I'm so sorry to read about your dad's passing. Although I live in Arkansas now, I still keep up with Davenport news
You have my deepest sympathies

Virginia: I was sorry to read of Jack's passing. It is tough to lose a mate. I am out in California for the winter so I will not be able to be at the visitation. My love to you and I will see you in church when I return this summer.

I am sorry to hear about the death of your Dad. It has been many years since we have had the old neighborhood gang together. I have lots of fond memories growing up with the Olds, Schwab and Starr families on Farnam St. in the 60's and 70's. May all of you be comforted by the warm and wonderful family memories of your Dad. He was a very kind and gentle man. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless all of you.
Sincerely, Jeani Neylon Grathoff

I remember the last time I saw Jack, my family was leaving their house and he looked us all over and said, "What a family," and I also remember how he always gave me a dollar for shoveling their sidewalk. God Bless ya Jack, and Go Cubbies.

I have so many great memories of Jack. My siblings and I would often sit in Jack's backyard and watch him clean his many bluegill after a day of fishing. Later, my family and I would go over to have Jack's famous fish fry's on his front porch. I also have memories of Jack playing catch with me in the front yard and teaching me how throw throw along the way. Jack blessed our family with many unforgettable memories and we will love him forever.

The Philip Doll family

We were so sorry to hear the news about Jack. We loved him so much. He taught us many things living next door to him for almost 10 years. For example, where some good spots were for catching bluegill and the trick to cleaning them as well, where to eat the best tenderloin sandwich and how to make the best brandy Alexanders.
He also gave valuable advice when we would
talk with him about concerns raising our four children. He played ball with them in the yard and gave our daughter Jess...
