Not sure what to say?

a very honorable man. Old world - old school. I miss him and that way of life.

I was very honored, sitting next to him in the Toronto departure hall on our way to Amsterdam, when he started telling me about his life. What a nice and humble man. He had given me his business card; that's how I came to this page trying to find out more about him.

Jack and Ina were remarkable people whose story was immortalized in Steal a Pencil for me. I miss Jack and his sense of humor and stories of a life filled with danger but also love.

God Bless you and your beautiful wife. Thank you for keeping the truth of the Holocaust alive. Just saw the movie of your love story. RIP

Thank you for your wonderful story and all that you have done to make the world aware. You are a true inspiration to the younger generation and so many more. What an amazing person you were . Thank you for your courage and determination but most of all, love .

My fond memories of Jack are that he was as driven and competitive as his children - he never did let me win even one set at tennis. I wish you all a happy and healthy 2022

My husband and I just watched Steal me a pencil and we can't begin to say how much we admire Jaap and Ina. Rest in peace. Much respect from Canada

I just watched the documentary, "Steal a Pencil for Me." What an amazing man Mr. Polack was. I'm grateful for the documentary that told his story, and that of his lovely wife, Catharina. May the heavens bless their posterity.
