Not sure what to say?

It was with a heavy heart that I read the news of Jack's passing. The whole family was simply a pleasure to know! Jack just lived life to the fullest and ALWAYS had a big ole smile on his face when he saw you. I just loved his whole family. We lived on their road right across the field from Ernie Faulkner back in the day. We had to get rid of the Dalmation dog we had 'cause he kept going over & killing Ernie's chickens,,,,,NOT a way to be in good graces with your neighbors! There were many...

My Dad , Elmer, was a neighbor on Tennesse Rd. In fact Dad was born (1918) and raised on that road. He spoke fondly of the Powell family.

Jack was a Lebanon Icon and I'm very proud to be able to call him my long time "Friend"..He will be dearly missed by all.

Every road in Tennessee should be named "Jack Powell Rd." We will miss Jack and his cheerful demeanor- but he is always in our heart as we pass the gas station and travel on Jack's roads.

Our hearts go out to the family of Jack Powell & saddens our hearts! We we knew Jack (also know his so. John) & patronized his gas station north of town for many years when we lived out that way. He was a good man and sooo friendly, such a happy go lucky person; quite the kidder. A very special dear man!! I´m sure he will be missed by all. Our Love & prayersTo his family, Dick & Jan Mitsch

Jack was one of a kind,a hard working farmer and business man that always went out of his way to be friendly and if you needed help he was there to do what needed to be done. His son John JP is the same way i always looked forward to seeing them both.I can...
