Not sure what to say?

I knew him first by playing baseball against him. He was such a great athlete in every sport he played in and I don't think we ever beat him in any sport. He was a intense and tough competitor. As I came across him later in life he was still a competitor. He always was someone who you admired and just loved to talk to. I think everyone can say the same thing. My prayers are with his family and friends and especially Glenda.

Great guy and baseball teammate at Bama. He always strived to do his best. Frank Cargo

Eddie grew up in the neighborhood that my brother, Ira Turned , and I grew up in. I remember his being so kind hearted and loads of fun, as well as a tremendous athlete. We wish many blessings for this kind man´s soul.

I grew up with Eddie on the Southside of Birmingham and we were always outside playing sports. Even though he was younger than the other boys he was very competitive and never backed away from a challenge. He turned out to be a terrific athlete and an even better person and friend. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed!

Eddie was a tremendous athlete and a great competitor who was as tough as they come. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Eddie.

I knew Eddie in high school. He was a fun guy and an excellent athlete. I send my condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
