I am so sad to learn of the death of my life long and dear friend, Jack. We've known one another since the early 60's when Fay, Jack, Rick and Michael lived in Vienna Virginia as did I and my family. Jack and I were singing friends from the first day we heard one another's voice. His was so big, warm and beautiful. The Topeka Opera Society Concert Association will miss Jack greatly. His enthusiasm for singing and enjoyment of opera were persuasive and his tireless work for our group inspiring. I will personally miss his gentle good humor and positive nature.
