Jack L. Renner

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Jack. We became friends years ago through photography and music and i will miss him! I wish his family all the best and send out my love to them!

I still miss Jack terribly. We shared so many good times, and I have been
so proud of him and his work. (and thrilled to have known him) I was
speaking of him just the other day. God bless his family and friends as we recall those happy days.

I know I speak for the Geneva H.S. (Ohio) classes from 1960 thru 1964 that we are all saddened by Mr. Renner's passing last year. My older sister Betty was privileged to march/play for Mr. Renner from 1960-1961 & I got to follow in her foot steps from 1961 until he retired from teaching high school music in June 1964. I was one of his students at Willshire High School in 1957-9, singing in the choir and playing trumpet in the band. He was an excellent teacher and always there for his students (with his help I was able to attend The Ohio State University Music Camp the summer between my junior and senior years). Jack Renner is remembered by many of us in Ohio.
I was a classmate at The Ohio State University,
where we worked hard, and shared many fun occasions. Jack followed me as music/band and choir teacher at the Willshire School (grades 1-12). He is well remembered in the Willshire area. He took the high school choir to state contest finals.
