Not sure what to say?

Wow, what a wonderful man! We met Jack at the WLYC back in 1979. His love of sailing encouraged so many others, he was a competitor! He always was happy, outgoing, friendly, and energetic! He loved being a part of the Scotville band! He an Muriel created a wonderful family. May you cherish your memories with peace, love, and joy! We are so grateful to have had Jack in our corner of the world! Jerry and Marcia Brichan

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

May your memories bring you peace and comfort.

He was a powerful competitor on Sunny Boy, that Irwin 37, that he made go faster than an Irwin 37. Early on, he would beat us to Mackinac, boat for boat, and we may have had a slightly faster 37 footer, Macushla, I don't know. But how did he do that? Maybe it was his crew. Will always remember him quoting Patrick Henry to defend my right to protest at a antinuclear demonstration, even though he did not agree with my position.always enjoyed crossing paths with him.

My name is Sandy (Sterenberg) Nieuwenhuis. My family (Jay and Janet Sterenberg) shared a driveway on Orchard Avenue in Muskegon when I was a little girl. I remember Jack (probably had a crush on him) and his parents,( Mr. and Mrs. Rillema to me.) Jack was always so good looking and kind and I also remember when he and Muriel got married. As a little girl, neighbors in love and weddings were exciting! I saw them both in recent years in the parking lot of the American Legion during Coast...

Cousin Jack was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known.....Muriel and Jack were the best of the best and so many people love him, his love for people just radiated from him and anyone who knew him knew how he felt. It is going to be so very hard not to see him . At the family gatherings it was great to get that big hug. Bless you cousin Jack we all love you......connie and bill stowe
