Not sure what to say?

I met him in the hospital in Schenectady. He loved to tell experiences as a veteran, Santa and his family. I left his room with a smile in my heart and tears in my eyes. We shared the gift of poetry as he read from his book, which I later received a copy. God Bless you from sea to shining sea!

I will never forget how determined Santa was to get back to his duty to the kids of Canastota as he recovered from an illness many would have found disabling. It was a privilege to have cared for him as a homecare nurse. Just watching him then was a lesson in perseverance, the same trait he used to make sure our veterans got recognition in Madison County. I thank him for his service, and more, for his service to our veterans.

Thank you dear family for sharing this wonderful man with us. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus...his first name is Jack and he lived in Madison County NY. Love, hugs and prayers to you, his loved ones. We will miss this wonderful man. God Bless

Jack came to our home on Christmas Day 1986 to visit my son Paul who was ill. He brought gifts for both my children. Paul was so happy to have Santa Claus visit. It was the high light of my sons last Christmas. RIP in Roger. You helped make Paul so happy. Paul E. Hatch

I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was a wonderful man and I know that all those children growing up in the 80's and early 90's in Canastota will always remember him as Santa Claus! Canastota was a better place because of him!
