Jack and I met in 1988 in Cabo San Lucas. We were both heading toward Senor Sushi's and just started talking. a few hours later and a number of drinks in, we were laughing and having a blast. I saw Jack again in San Diego at a show with Tesla. he came up with that big Jack smile and put his arm around me. Some 34 years later, I found out he was gonna be in Salt Lake City. Cut my teeth on Great White while learning to play guitar, so many hours and memories, seeing them in 1990 in Halifax Canada opening for Alice Cooper, and an enduring love for his voice and that band. Rest easy Mr.Russell
