RUTLEDGE, JACK L.—age 74 of Knoxville, died at 10:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2005, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith. Retired Chief Master Sergeant with Tennessee Air National Guard.
Preceded in death by wife, Shirlene Rutledge; parents, Justin (Judd) and Ivan Rutledge; sister, Margaret Hamilton; brother, John W. (Bill) Rutledge.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Dolly Rutledge of Richmond, VA; son, Greg Rutledge of Norfolk, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Doug Belew of Knoxville; grandchildren, Eric and Caitlin Belew of Knoxville, Lisa Shuler of Fredericksburg, VA; great-granddaughter, Annabelle Shuler of Fredericksburg, VA; brother, James Casey Rutledge of Sevierville; father-in-law, Aubrey E. Major of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday at Lynnhurst for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Rev. Randall Webb officiating.
The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at N. Broadway.
