Jack was born on April 11, 1926 and passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019. The eldest of eight sons, he attended grades 1 through 8 at country school - Sunny Side District #39, Lodgepole, Nebraska. He attended Deuel County High School at Chappell, Nebraska until January 1945 when he was drafted into the United States Army.
