Dear Family
I was sad to receive the news of Jack’s passing from my sister Sheila. As you all know, Jack and my Dad Henry Valdespino were very dear friends for many many years. The mutual love and respect they had for each other was so beautiful to see. They taught us a lot, men of that era: responsibility, humility, work ethic, how to be frugal and not live beyond our means, and then of course, faith.
I will never forget some of you bringing your Dad to my mom’s 90th birthday...

We, the Benedictine Sisters are grateful for his service on the Board of St. Benedict Hospital. We closed that ministry in 1985. May he rest in peace.
