Jack E. Snodgrass

Jack E. Snodgrass, 80, of Kokomo, died at 2:45 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in Howard Regional Health System, Kokomo. Born February 14, 1928 in Frankfort, IN, he was the son of the late Doyle Snodgrass and Anna (Davenport). He attended Kokomo Schools and was also a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II On October 19, 1951 in Logansport, IN he married Peggy A. (Gang) and she survives. He was employed at the Chrysler Transmission Plant for 20 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer, a member of Chippendale Golf Club, American Legion Post #6, and U.A.W. Local #685. Survivors include his wife Peggy Snodgrass of Kokomo; one son, Roger Snodgrass of Kokomo; one daughter, Vickie Lytle (companion-Bob Rose) of Kokomo; grandchildren, Steve Switzer, Eddie Miller, Travis Miller, Cristin Snodgrass; great grandchildren Casey Switzer, Taylor Osbon, and Travis Miller Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; also two daughters, Stephanie and Jill Miller.
