Jack W. Snyder

I knew Jack for a short time at waterford but knew he was a special man. He served his country in the navy and airforce. He was a good friend and will be missed by so many.

I had met Jack by chance at Fall Feast 2017. There was a special table set up in the ballroom that just caught my attention. As the morning got rolling I noticed folks gathered around a person in a uniform of sort. As I got closer and watched, it was Jack. What an amazing person to talk to. He was sharp as a tack. Jack hired me as a School Social Worker for the Cincinnati Public School in 1978 and was later my Supervisor at Cummins Social Service Center. Jack was very respected as a Cincinnati Public School Employee and a good friend who will be sorely missed.

Jack was a very "Special" Friend to the athletes of Special Olympics Hamilton County for many years. He and his fellow members of the PhiEK helped run the annual Track & Field meet - from set up, to running the events to tearing down. Jack also helped with a number of our other events including golf, fishing, skiing, basketball-just to name a few!
