Not sure what to say?

Jack was my roommate the second semester of my freshman year at Ashland Collage. I told him that I was going to join the Army and would not be back at Ashland for a couple of years. He did not believe me and that didn't matter as I knew what I was going to do, and I probably BSed about things in our conversations. well, in those days we registered next semester's classes in the gym. He said you did not register this morning or this afternoon? Then he said, "You really are going to join...

Jack was my roommate in Ashland College in 1968. I only saw him once after that in a Lorain McDonald's in about the late 1980s. I Just read of his death in the Ashland University magazine, "Accent Magazine" Fall, 2021. He was a kind interesting guy. I remember some of the pranks that I pulled on him. He was a good sport. I enjoyed knowing him.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Snyder was one of my guidance counselor at Brookside High School back in the early 80's. He was great at what he did. Because of him and Mr. Jonson and so many more great teachers at the Sheffield and Sheffield Lake Schools is what made me go on to become a teacher.

Mr Jack was a very kind man. He always made me laugh when him and Leslie came to the Middle Ridge Mc Donald's, I always knew what him and Leslie ordered, sometimes it was different, I remember one day he said I must be physic, made me laugh. I will truly miss you Mr Jack, Love your friend Keri

Ever since he and Les were married those many years ago, Jack has been part of our family. At reunions and other gatherings he always had a story to tell to make us laugh. Our deepest sympathy to Leslie, and to Jarred and Johanna and their families.
The Dorrance family.

Oh my goodness! So sorry to read about Mr. Synder's passing. He was my 6th grade teacher at Vincent School. Knowing my families love of animals he gave us one of the best dogs we ever had a stray dumped at his house. He even dance with me at my wedding returning a little rubber ducky I gave him in 6th grade(LOL). He was so kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. My Mom and I send our deepest sympathy.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
