Thanks to Jack and his teaching I was able to make 1st chair in the Santa Monica HS band and many other organizations. He was a joy to know as a teacher and friend that I could just 'talk' about music with. He taught me everything I know even before I went on to college etc. Craig Rice

As a former student of Jack's I still carry his tutelage with me whenever I perform on my Trombone. I try to pass those lessons to others through the past 45+ years maybe not as patiently as Jack did , but I try. He will be missed.
