Just takes time to sink.it all in. Jack a Great Man and Dad and Husband . An a tough Football player. Professional Acquaintance.

Remembering a Good Friend and Gentle Person whom I had the Pleasure of Knowing and Conversing about Life, Family and Sports. Being from Cleveland and a Lifetime of Being a Raiders Fan of 60-Years, I just Enjoyed Listening to Jack for Hours talking about Our Silver & Black Team.. What truly Impressed Me was How very Humble and a Down to Earth Gentleman Jack was to take the Time from His Busy Schedule and to Meet a Simple Fan from North East Ohio and to made Me feel Special in doing So.. I met Jack in the late 80s or early 90s. What an incredible unassuming gentle human being. I would introduce him to people and tell them what he had done and he would engage with them. I just discovered his passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing him with me, Zack Bruell

He took it up a notch to the NFL and had a SUPER run. I bumped into Jack recently where we exchanged kind jabs and reminisced about our former playing days. A good guy gone...

When you wore armor on the field, and were relentless, unwilling to yield. When your name was in print and your likeness in photos. When your doubters were silenced, and you did not gloat. When everyone was or wanted to be your friend. I knew you then. I know you now, when your name is still the same, and the poet who wrote...

A few years ago, Jack helped us with some cleaning services at Stride Tool in Glenwillow; he was always upbeat, friendly and eager to talk about his NFL days. Jack gave me a signed copy of the Sports Illustrated with his great interception on the cover and it hung on my office wall until the day Stride Tool closed down. A very classy guy, indeed.
