Not sure what to say?

Dearest Lisa and family,

I just now learned of your precious father's passing on to his wonderful heavenly home. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I still want you to teach me how to make his special Christmas candies! Will be speaking with you soon.

Independent schools lost a great leader. But, his impact will be with us forever. My thoughts and prayers are with Jody and the entire family.

Mr. Stanford was one of the kindest and finest men I ever met. He was a wonderful teacher and role model for every boy at PDS. He always seemed to remember everyone's name - no matter how long it had been since he saw you last. His smile was infectious. A true gentleman. He will surely be missed.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Coach Stanford. He was my basketball, and football coach at Baylor, and although demanding, was always the consummate gentleman. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family.

DEAR Jody,Lisa,and Susanbeth,
Sally and I are so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was a dear and loyal friend during our time in Memphis and the years following our retirement.

You just must know that so many of us are better people because we knew Jack.

God bless all of you.

Sally and Don Frazier(Johns Island,SC)

Jody,
Our thoughts and prayers of our entire family are with you and your family. We all believed Jack to be the kindest and wisest man there ever was. My dad "Buck" loved him like a brother.

It was an honor to teach Biology at Hutchison during Mr. Stanford's tenure there. His belief in what women could do in the world and how they shoould be prepared to be good and productive citizens was inspirational to me and to the girls. Linda Taylor Walter

Jody,
God bless you. It was a priviledge to serve under Jack as a fourth grade teacher at PDS.

Dear Jody, Lisa, and Susanbeth,
Words will not express what Jack has meant to me over the past 39 years. He was my friend, my mentor, my role model and it was an honor to serve as his Assistant at Presbyterian Day School. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and the entire Stanford family.
