Not sure what to say?

In Honor Of Babe Stearn,
When I picked up The Repository dated January 12, 2007 I immediately went to the article about Babe Stearn. My eyes fell upon the smaller pictures at the bottom of the page. Those pictures look very familiar! I am now much older and still remember the dozens and dozens of times that me and my friend, Walt Broucker, would be there waiting for those doors to open! We always played basketball, went to machine and wood shop and watched movies! It was a great time in...

Hello Lon and Nancy,

I remember when we were in Mighty Mites and had our picture in the newspaper with Babe. (only about 45 years ago!!)I really thought we made it to the "Big Leagues" then. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for all he did in Canton. He will be missed by many.

Regards to your family,

I am so sorry to hear of your lost and wish to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences. May God be with you and guide you during this time.-Isaiah 66:13

Dear Jan, Mitch, Leah, Rachel & Family,
Jack was one of those people you never forget, and made a great impression on me the very first time I met him with his big smile and positive attitude. And I just learned today about the boys club, and what a huge impact it had on the community, but more importantly how "Babe" touched and help shape the lives of so many with his caring way. I know how very much he'll be missed. May the happy memories comfort you all and keep him close to you...

Babe
I want to thank you, and your family,For sharing your time and
services. I want to thank you for the exelent guidenance and advice you
provided during our walk together in life.I greatly enjoyed the
choir,archery,boxing,game room,gym ,machineshop,woodshop, summer camp,
swim at the downtown cyc and the jewish center. When babe spoke you
knew he was going to be fair, there was no arguing back. The exercise
we got while babe was sitting us does not even compare to the...

I only met him once and that seemed to be one of the proudest times of his life. He came up to me after a performance of ANNIE in which I had the pleasure of performing in at the North Canton Playhouse. He said how much he enjoyed my performance and I said he should be very proud of Lauren as she was the STAR. He smiled and said he would be proud of her no matter what she did. A loving family is an everlasting treasure. My thoughts are with the entire family

Year after year people would come by the Stearn center / Boys club and ask if Babe was here? This has gone on the 25 years I have worked at the club / center .Fokes from all different walks of life all different ages living in all different states would say the same thing that Babe was like a father to them that set them on the rite path in life . After seeing this for 25 years it still amazes me how he put his mark on so many people his life will live on because he touched so many

Sympathy to the Stearn Family, Like many others I grew up at the Boys Club.. Babe bought me a t-shirt that was torn because of a fight, which kept me out of trouble with my mom..That was almost 50 yrs. ago..Because of his love, I coached for many years in Mighty Might Baseball..You were a good person & always was surrounded by those who were good..Thanks to the Stearn Family for sharing this man!
..(Gal. 6:10)..Sincerely,
