Not sure what to say?

Anyone who grew up in the Highlands or East Renton area during the 50's and 60's knew Jack Stewart, or was acquainted with him through Jacks Restaurant. He was a neighbor of our family for many years. I have many memories of eating and hanging out at Jacks Drive in.
My condolences go out to Charlie, Ed, Jeff and all the extended family and friends of Jack Stewart.

I knew Jack from Crescent Bar. We made a connection because he was "old-time" Renton and so was I. My grandfather sold Jack's grandfather a building lot on Renton Hill many, many years ago. My condolences to your family. He was a great guy.

Jack was a neighbor (twice), a family friend, and my first employer. I have nothing but affection and praise for him and will always remember his infectious grin and positive attitude. How lucky I was to have known him!

I will always remember Jack. I hit Jack up for a job when I was 11 or so and he kindly turned me down, telling me he had a contract with a company that had big trucks to sweep the parking lot.
Laer on I caught on with Jack's Drive In as a dishwasher and my connection with Jack, Charlie and his family were solidified forever.
Jack created the icon of the Renton Highlands during the Highland's glory years that will be remembered,
I value my relationship with all of the Stewart...

Jack was a great guy!! Having grown-up in Renton, having eaten one too many burgers and the best fish and chips ever, he did much for our community. He was a great friend to my Mom and Dad, as well as to many others in the Highlands and Honeydew.
My condolences to Charlie and the rest of the Stewart family. He's left big shoes to fill, but he made sure you could. Here's to many memories of all the great times you shared!!

We were very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Everyone was asking about him this year at Crescent Bar. Jack was a wonderful man, and a good friend, He always had my father laughing when he would stop and chat as Dad sat on his deck. From the family of Fred Pearson
