Not sure what to say?

As parents of one of Jack's former students, we want to add our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. When he taught our daughter to drive, he nicknamed Lynn "Crash." That was many years ago, but Lynn and Mr. Sweet kept in touch ever since. He was admired and respected as a great role model for his "kids," and much appreciated by their folks. May God grant you peace and hope to urge you on and keep you conforted.

Dear Marie & Family,
Janis and I and family are deeply sorry for your loss. We are sorry that we could not be there in person to express our sympathy to you.
We shall never forget all that Jack and you done for us when we needed it the most. I knew Jack a long time from being a member of the same church at one time to being your newspaper boy in my early teens.I will never forget him in my lifetime.
Again our condolences to you and your family.

Dear Mrs. Sweet and family,
I am heartily sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that you are in the thoughts of so many people that knew your husband and father and remember him fondly.

Dear Coach,
I wish a simple thank you was enough. You guided many of us through the most difficult years of growing up, and treated us with compassion and respect. Rest easy now; we turn out just fine.
You'll be sorely missed.
Jim

To the family of Jack Sweet,
My heartfelt condolences to you. The last time I spoke with Jack at a game at NWRH several years ago, I was able to personally thank him for instilling the disipline required to carry us through life...The community has lost a great person, but he has left behind a legacy that will never be equaled. God Bless.

Marie, Mike, Glenn and Jenny,
All week my thoughts and prayers have been with you. You have always treated me like family. I am very sorry that I cannot be there.

Mr Sweet,
I could never call you Jack to your face. Thank you for the many lessons, good times, your courage and strength, and most of all your friendship. You were always there for me, and I knew that. I would gladly pick up your hat anytime, anywhere. I am going to miss you. CHUCK

Dear Mrs. Sweet and Family:
I was so sad to hear of Mr. Sweet's passing. He was such a legend around the Warren County area. I grew up in Blairstown and remember the soccer games. What a great loss in life but a wonderful gain to heaven.

To the Sweet family,
Please know in this time of loss how very much Coach Sweet meant to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was not only a strong, positive influence in my life during my years at NWRHS (Class of 1982); but even more so later on when I developed a deeper understanding of the "lessons" he taught. If I can be as well thought of by just a few people, as he has been by thousands, I'll have been a success. God's peace be with you.

To Mrs. Sweet & family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and prayers at this difficult time. Your husband and father was a well respected man who displayed character, wit , and a genuine concern for everyone he encountered. Thank you for sharing him with us for a time so that we were able to learn from his examples.

To the Coach,
Thanks to you for being a teacher, Principal, Coach, mentor, and so much more. You helped to inspire me to become an educator and...
