TREVINO
Jack Gerard Trevino, born on February 17, 1960 in Chicago, IL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on November 4, 2009 in San Antonio, TX to be with Our Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessica Susan Trevino who died on December 25, 2008. Jack is survived by his devoted girlfriend Patty Wells; daughter, Caitlyn Edwards of Northern California; father, Frank V. Trevino of San Antonio; sister, Jill Wood of San Antonio; brother, Angel Trevino of Chicago, IL; sister Jenny Powell of Tucson, AZ, and devoted friend Eugene Dumais of San Antonio. Jack was blessed to have four wonderful people taking care of him at home, his father, Patty, Jill and Eugene. We would also like to thank the Christus Hospice team for their devotion and support to Jack and the family. We will miss Jack's personality and his sense of humor. Jack had an incredible passion for playing the drums. He played with bands in LA, SAT, and all over the world. He was a big fan of Jimi Hendrix, that's the style of music he loved to play. He also played with The Randy Hansen Band out of Seattle WA; Jack also loved to play golf. He played in amateur Jr. golf tournaments in Los Angeles and won a trophy in one of them. He also played little league baseball in San Fernando Valley, CA. He made the All Star team two years in a row. He was a good athlete and a fast runner. "Don't grieve for me for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my head and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, love, and play the drums. I love everyone and may God keep you healthy and strong. From Jack to Jill and Patty". "This body we have is only a shell, you will find a way to keep on living here when I am gone, and I will meet you on the other side, peace and love". Private interment service will be held in Waco, TX at a later date. Arrangements with:

To my Love, this is the last entry in the book, I just want you to know that I will cherish the time we shared, and after hearing that song, LOVE LIVES ON, I know you will always be with me, I will miss our long talks, and walks we use to take, You taught me how to love again, and showed me how to be free, You showed me a special kind of love and I know you are free and at peace, I want to thank you for everything and even though our time was cut short, it was the best 18 months of my life,...

Jack, You gave me my life-long appreciation for drums. My daughter is a percussionist and it always reminds me of you. I wish she could have personally witnessed your passion for drums and music. I am so thankful that I did. I will NEVER forget you. Give Susan my love and a huge hug for me, please.
To your amazing family - Frank, Jill, Jenny, and Angel...I hope you all know how much I love and miss you. I am blessed to have known you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God...

Hey Jacko, I don't even know where to start. There is no beginning or end here, we were just always Jack and Jill. Thank you for being my big brother Jack. We talked alot about how different we lived our lives from one another. You called me a bookworm and I called you a free spirit. I also told you that you were and will always be the only person I will ever know who lived life on their own terms, had an intense passion for the drums, and didn't give a crap what anybody thought about...

Now Hammer you are forever in the Force of Three, Sailing Free and no Whirlwinds can stop you now, across the sky sailing free.
I know and now you know it's a jingle jangle morning and I'll come following you.
I have and always been your loving spirit, prayer, and warrior friend. The Breakfast Club had nothing on us. Thank you for all our words and songs together.
You and I know what it is to see God come down around us and save a friend in the instant the lightning crashes....
