I had Mr Upton in 7th grade at Golfview Jr High in Bartow. He was a great teacher and made us really put our minds to work. I learned alot about the world that year. He must have only been 28 at the time. I thought he was alot older. I wish I had caught up with him later in life. He was certainly an influence on me, quoting "shoot Luke it's your nickel" and the always favorite "Indeed". I hope he lived a good life. Here's a last nickel, take your shot Mr Upton! RIP.
